DEMONSTRATION - Ron Torgeson present the demonstration on inside-out ornament turning.  Ron showed how he uses a jig with square recess to hold the pieces together at the tail stock during turning.

Ron mounts the tail stock jig on the lathe Ron starts by turning the interior pattern Once the interior is turned the pieces are reversed in order to turn the outside profile of the ornament

Ron explains the procedures for reversing the four blocks of wood and gluing them up.  He also noted the various patterns that can be turned in this instance it is a Bell. A completed ornament with a Christmas Tree pattern
